6 position ts question

Just ran my truck all week on the 75hp setting g and drove 247 miles on 13 gallons of fuel which got me 18.5 mpg which is right in line with what I was getting before the chip install. I filled up and am going to run it on the 50 hp setting on this tank. I must admit the 50 is not as fun as the 75. Lol but my question is what setting is best to use as your daily driver setting? I don't really run it on the 100 and 140 setting g unless I'm just playing around. My right foot has definitely gotten a little heavier since the install, I try to stay out of it and take it easy buts it's just too much fun. I guess I'm still in the honeymoon stage with it as I've only had it for a Lititle over a week.

Using any setting over 60hp is pointless since the stock injectors can only do 50/60hp over stock. Using a lower setting and keeping your foot out of it will yield better results. If you bought a chip solely for the purpose of better fuel mileage then the sales gimmick worked. Chips are to boost performance which equals burning more fuel. If you get better mpg then consider it a bonus.

What I was saying is that it didn't help my mileage any. I was already getting 17-19mpg depending on how I drove. It's really helped my shift points and has defiantly gave it a nice power increase. I figured that it was going to result in a lower mpg since the injectors are putting out more fuel. On the 140 setting it leaves some black smoke when I get on to it. But I don't like to do that. I try to baby her, it's my daily driver can't afford for her to be down because of abuse.

The reason it smoked in the 140 is due to the pulse width (keeping injector open longer)
The people that claim better mpg have worn injector and the chip basically makes the injector work at stock level
