TS Performance Chip questions

So over the winter my buddy surprised the heck out of me and got me a TS Performance 6 position chip for my OBS F-250 (payback for helping him reno his house I guess). I have a few questions for some more informed members on here that use the TS chip aswell.

The chip was ordered it through the XDP online vendor, preloaded with stock, hi idle, 50, 75, 100 and 140 tunes. Now my truck is completely stock minus a 6637 filter. How exactly does the 75, 100 or 140 tunes work on a stock truck? Is it even safe to use them? I have read before that OBS trucks will see about 60hp/???torque from the chip, is that number from a completely stock truck such as mine or with supporting mods (air intake, downpipe and exhaust)? I am curious and actually kind of excited to pull my truck out of winter hibernation and roast my old winter tires off
cheers!

I added the ts chip with the same configuration as yours to my stock truck. It definitely made a difference in the 50 and a small amount more in the 75 setting, But nothing more when turned up past this. It was limited by the stock injectors...... I upgraded injectors to Rosewood stage ones and hpop to a terminator t500. That was what it needed. I can feel a difference in each setting now.

I just installed mine yesterday and can agree with Dually. Some improvement on 50hp and just a touch more on 75. I used 100 for a brief moment and couldn't tell any difference. Same set up as you 6637 intake and exhaust everything else is stock.

With stock injectors, You wont gain the HP benifits.
What you will gain is better timing and just all around running.
It will feel like a better truck.
Better response and probably better fuel mileage.

Drive it in the one that feels the best until you get bigger injectors.

Alright thanks guys! I was honestly not planning to do much with the old girl but this has opened my plans for future mods to be a bit more larger then previously planned.

I would recommend you get a set of gauges asap! Must have would be trans temp and a pyro. I also run a boost and fuel psi gauge. I run a ts chip with gearhead tunes! I notice a different in every setting!

I have a pyro already in. No trans temp gauge as I have a ZF transmission.

The most you will see is about 50 to 60 hp increase with stock injectors. Any higher tunes that that are pointless.
Even if you have Stage-1 injectors that can actually use the 140 hp setting, there are better tunes available than the stock TS stuff.
I bet if you switch to the high settings performance will suffer. The higher tunes are making the injectors stay open longer, which they physically cannot do, so they sit there doing nothing waiting to be turned off for the next cycle and this drops performance.
Just stay in the 50, or at most the 75 tune.
