I don't think you'll find much help here to curb the desire for more trucks. If anything, we are a group of encouragers. If I had more space, id go get the '46 half ton panel I've seen off the freeway here.
It's a slippery slope........one day you wake up and find you have a whole fleet! I've got 20 or so old trucks and cars, plus tractors and piles of parts. A definite sickness......
My garage extension is one bay for my fire engine just so I would not be able to buy more cars and trucks. I will have enough trouble with just the one. And we cannot have unregistered vehicles on the property in my town.
it can be called a sickness that i hope they never find a cure for, now repeat after me "i will buy another truck if its cheap enough" sorry i couldnt resist

i remember when my wife said, what do we need with a 3rd truck!! we laugh about that now
I counted the other day, 9 cars/trucks, 5 travel trailers, 4 flat trailers and one tractor. That's not counting partial trucks and all the boxes and parts.
I had a friend that lived in rural Wisconsin. In that area they referred to a person's 'piston index'. They counted the numbers of actual cylinders on their property. Lawn mowers, chain saws, cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles and of course out there, snow machines. Anything with a piston. I don't think they had to run. At that time I remember being a 78. Haven't thought about it in a while but I have bought 5 more acres since then.

While walking the dogs tonight I noticed my non running model A yard art, my honda powered bandsaw mill, my 2 cyl 1920 aerothrust outboard, a 46 1/2 ton panel with a stuck six, a ford 223 six condition unknown, a stuck flathead six on it's side in my scrap pile. Oh and then there's that 99 acura that a neighbor gave me after he dropped a tree on the roof. It's a good runner with an inline 5..... I think that's 30 more. My name is Gary and I'm an......
