Scott, I'm always here to enable you when you need it. I've already been cruising CL for Eastern Washington as we plan to head over the pass for my birthday weekend in late May. One just never knows what's out there. We went over there for our anniversary a couple years ago and came back like this....

Thanks Gary......I knew you "had my back" LOL

I'm trying to stop. Really! I don't actively look for this stuff....it just kinda happens.

Can't stand to see this old stuff scrapped.

But in defense of my obsession, a lot of trucks slip through my hands. Usually after I get them running and serviceable. For instance in this shot, I no longer have any of them including the 8n ford tractor.

I never thought so much of counting pistons but have tried to count wheels a few times. I'm a little light on pistons, around 60 in runners and about the same in non. But I'm a trailer hoar and if I count aired up tires on the ground I have around 100. And another 50 or so for spares and ones I keep for rollers.

Did a quick count on cyclinders, up to around 86. Guess I have more old tractors than trucks.

WB, I am so with you on tires. Now that I have three half ton jailbars I have become obsessed with 16" innie wheels. And yesterday I made a deal with a neighbor for 4 good 6.50 x 16s on six lug chev pickup wheels. I have three trailers that take the 6 lug and who doesn't need a few more 16s anyways? About 10 years ago I bought the adjoining 5 acres and one of my young employees blurted out "just think how many more used tires you can bring home now!" I think he thought it was just a joke......

That is an admirable quality. There are some things I should have let go of but haven't been able to do so. I guess I'm kinda like a roach motel...things check in but they don't check out.

My 3 oldest kids went to 4 years of college with college loans and cash handouts from dad who 'just sold another truck'. Yesterday I gave my daughter (first of 4 to marry) the 2500 I got for my diesel scout towards her upcoming ceremony. Guess I better sell a few more. If you're the IRS, I was just kidding.

That's what I paid for it and I sold it to my stepson who runs a tree topping business. The whole back is full of chainsaws and saw gas and climbing gear. He and his partner have put more miles on it in 6 months than I did in 4 years.

Well I havent been collecting as long as some of you but my modest 6 antique and several donor trucks are using up all my time and money. The enablers on this site are purely to blame. I have never felt such a sense of belonging or joy as me and my sons work beside each other and i read the stories here.
Feels like a perfect fit to me.

I have the one and only Ford, so that's 6. The rest of mine don't exist here.
