I will gladly take any truck you throw together. That looks like a nice rig. I would be proud to drive it.
What exhaust is on there anyway?
As I drive it more I am developing a whole new hit list to go with the list that it's going to take to drag the box . I'm tired just thinking about it.
The exh is a hodgepodge of stuff that used to be on clifford.
The tail pipe is off a buddies dodge and the straight part is just some left over stuff from the project before clifford. The dp is some ebay buy I think. Just junk repurposed.
You are right John. I'll just drive it and be happy.
I have a few down pipes kicking around straight pipe.is easy but I would like to get.over the axle some how. I am not sure if the over the axle piece is available separately in Canada.
It actually rides decent. It's not the centurion but better than clifford lol.
so the list begins
Fuel pump
fuel hoses
Seal fuel bowl
Vibraloc seals
Radius arm bushings
#4 injector
Something in the Phillies is mad.
add tucool trans cooler
Move fifth wheel hitch from dodge to ford.
Bolt bed down more permanently
wire up 7 pin plug
add brake controller.
Do something with rear bumper (shenagains to follow)
That's all got to be done in 2 weeks for camping...yuck

The 96 and 97 In my drive both have separate wiring for the trailer circuit and the controller just plugs in under of the dash. The 95 will require a full mess around to get the wiring set up.
I used a bolt kit from Napa for my box. It is dang good. 735 68 49 is the part number I believe. I do have two sets of vibraloc bushings because they are so hard to get here.
Any way I am dang sure that it will be a good truck regardless of the paint situation.

I have the stubs for at the rear from the harness plugs to the 7 way. I just have to connect to the actual 7 way. Yea I have the trailer wiring in the truck
I had to add all that to the dodge once upon a time. Not bad but a lot of wire lol.
Looking good! Speaking of trailer wiring, I need to fix mine before our trip coming up in just over a week. Apparently I have a short in the blue trailer brake wire somewhere between the cab and the bumper. Not looking forward to tracing that through the harness, or running a new wire the length of the truck.

The harness seemed most messed up next to the rear tank when repairing the harness on the 97. I remember cutting it above the axle and pulling new wire from there back. At the same time the third brake light lead (small green) was extended for a truck topper that has a high light or a third brake light between the tailgate and bumper.
To be honest the biggest issue I have seen is corrosion where the wire goes into the back of the 7 way plug its self.
both clifford and brothers truck.
That sounds like a good place to start. It worked just fine a couple summers ago, but last year the trailer brakes on my old trailer didn't work. I thought it might be the trailer itself since I've had issues before, but the new trailer doesn't work either. Last week I tested it with a long jumper and my multimeter, no continuity.
see that p02a9 code? That came up on a power balance test. I didnt like #2 when i was into it last so i swapped it. Truck still idled like poo. That #4 when running and i disconnect it would loose a lot of rpm. When i had issues with clifford on the first set of injectors jim advised the injector doing this prob had a cracket nozzle. The code and that info made me try it. I swapped for a known good injector. Wala we have decent idle quality and she runs great . I put all new inj orings on the injectors in this mill when i started. I have now swapped 7 of 8 injectors out lol. Oh well, now on to the other issues.
