Home just about an hr ago. Unpacked and camper clean and ready for next trip.
observations...this truck needs mo powa. 4.10 gear swap would prob do it well. I just hate to for unloaded driving.
The ultimate remedy is clifford doing this work. The wife was asking me about the next step after seeing how hard this thing is working. Not thinking any long towing trips are in the works for this current combo.
Steal the performance goodies from Clifford while you have him down.
It's just not an option. There are too many one off and modified things to do that. I just dont want to either honestly.
I just need that big dawg to run!!
I do like this truck tho for car trailer and other jobs. Pulling gthe camper short distances for now.
Aaron. Great job getting the truck ready and having a successful trip.
Do you happen to know the length of stock front coil springs? The 2019 springs seem a lot longer than the 1996 springs. I am unsure how much sag is in the spring.

about 57" from what I guesstimate measuring.
Man that was what sure felt like a lot done in a short window. I never thought I would get this back honestly. I was looking to buy something to pull with for short term when it happened.
Either way lots to do around here.
One of these days I'll work on the fuel leaks. Not today.
Oh, duh. Sure, I can check tomorrow after work. Sorry, I guess I misunderstood.
The 2019 coil is much longer than the coil on the 1996 2wd. Something like 20" and 13". I am not sure how much sag the 1996 coil has in it. If you had a coil out a comparison could be made.
