What I would do is run it and see if it pops out. Make sure to put something around to cover the area, to keep it contained if it does fly.
Thing is, it /won't/ drop into the piston if it falls. It's inside the pre-cup, which has a very narrow opening. If just the tip of the GP came off, you could have an issue. But the bottom half of that GP is quite long.
Plus, you aren't going to have suction against that GP, only pressure(unlike a gas engine, diesels don't have an intake restriction).
Chances are, it will sit right where it's at and won't be moving period. Considering the force it took to break that glow plug, it's probably swelled and jammed in there real good. With heat and time it /might/ come loose, so just be aware of that and make sure you have a spare GP and socket with you at all times while driving. I'd also put a little piece of sheet metal over where the GP would come out, to keep it from hitting anything on it's way out, if it ever does come out.

That gives me some hope do you think any penetration oil like PB would help Before running it ? And so I know you already told me this kinda but reassure me about that, so their is little chance that the Glow plug will fall onto the piston?
If it was loose enough for gravity to move it, yes it could fall down in the cylinder. Otherwise it is the 300+ psi trying to push it out is much more likely to pop it loose/out. PB blaster couldn't hurt
Unlike in a DI diesel, the glow plug is not in the chamber with the cylender.
It's behind that metal cup. It could fall into there and rattle around; it's not small enough to come out the little slot that connects that chamber with the main cylender/piston.
Here's a good picture of the bottom of an IDI head, with precups in place.
Soaking in penetrating oil for 12 hrs helped me get a swollen one out, turning slightly in each direction.
I was just thinking that after penetrating oil, applying voltage to the glow plug to heat it up briefly might might help the oil to penetrate..
There is a great trick on Youtube = making a slide hammer device from a coat hanger wire attached to vice grip pliers. The vice grip clamps to the glow plug and using a wooden hammer handle on a hammer, swing the handle up and away from the glow plug plug while the hammer handle is inside of a long loop in the coat hanger (which is attached to the vise grip clamped onto the glow pug) Works like a delicate slide hammer to lightly tap (pull) the plug out.
This is one way. Maybe this will give you some ideas. It looks like you will be able to get it out FarmallM4! I will copy and paste the full description of the video below:

How to extract ,broken tip of glow plug ,use a tap (10-32) to score inside of old plug, then place washer under old plug ,a couple drops of loctight inside the old plug re-insert old plug over broken tip ,using a twisting motion, but donot engage threads, and once loctight (red) has setup ( 4hrs or over night) use screwdriver to pry up with a steady pressure(under washer) while rotating with a ratchet, tip should pull up take your time don't rush,if this helps ,
Your Welcome,

well i had a lot of trial and error but i got it out i started it up and it didn't fit tight enoph so all the compression was going around so what i had to do was give it a lot of PB and cut another old glow plug in half to where it was only the threaded part and lightly threaded it in and started it up and since it had a plug on to it shoved the broken one past the swell then shut off the truck un-threaded the plug then started it back up and it blew it right out boy i was praisen the lord about that and it sure is nice not having to use starter fluid i had to run a push button because the controller is stuck on thats the reason i had to replace them but its all good now thank you for all the ideas and encouragement
