Check transmission fluid level.
Check your intake boots, look for cracks and loose clamps.

Sounds like a transmission problem not a engine problem. As stated before check out troubleshooting link.

Has tranny been serviced? Such as filter and fluid change? Might be as simple as a filter.

Anyone page Mark? I pestered him the other day.

If you repeat transmission 3 times and turn around in circles he should appear.
Or and don't forget the "All Hail Mark The wonderful"
Ok so I am slathering it on thicker that Tanny Fay Baker
did with her face-pairt or should I say putty. Put that stuff on with a trowel.

There's only enough information here to say something doesn't seem right.

Do you have anything to watch live data with? Having that can help
with diagnosing the issue. What did you use to scan for codes with?
There are some tools out there that won't show trans codes even though
they are a Pxxxx type code for the powertrain
http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/ford/

Well it was in your first post that you had good boost

We can only go by what we're told good boost so we assume you checked boost against the book and saw good values per spec with a good gauge

Sounds like you need some gauges that would help cut cost

A 3300.00 bill is outrageous for a turbo job

IF YOU REALY NEEDED A TURBO
Should be a 1500 to 1700.00 dollar job including turbo and labor gaskets etc

It may only needed cleaned OR sensor

Sorry you got raped
All the folks that come here do it to avoid a bad deal but it takes days of research to learn the good bad ugly

Agreed. Something not adding up. By the OP it appears to be a Trans problem like slipping clutches or bad torque converter or pump. Not a turbo. That's the problem with forums, some people can not relay info or understand when transferred to type.
