351 VS 302 - Which One ?

Hi all, I am looking at a few 1991 Broncos and have the the option to get it in the 351 or the 302. Which engine is going to be beter? I already have a 1990 4x4 F250 E4OD with a 351 w/124K miles and love. Even though it gets 13.8mpg. Both are the EB edition. Please reply. I would love to get the Bronco with the 351. The Broncos have 106K and 120K miles - if that helps.

Thanks to all who reply....

351 VS 302 - Which One ?

It all depends on which '91 Bronco is in better overall condition. If the one with the EFI302 is in better shape than the one powered by the EFI351,then get that Bronco.Naturally, the 351 will have a bit more power, but either of these EFI Windsors are easy to add more power to.When I was looking to get a '87-'91 year Bronco last Summer,it came down to two trucks: a '89 XLT(dark brown&351,98,000 miles),or a '90 XLT two-tone blue&302,92,670 miles). After testdriving both, the brown 351 truck obviously needed: tranny work, a rear, and didn't idle very well. So,I drove the other truck. To make a long story short-I bought the 302-powered one, because it was in excellent condition. I've upraded it's current EFI302(a EFI460&E4OD swap soon!),and it has the power of a stock EFI351,now. I'm only putting the EFI460 into it because I've always wanted this big V-8 in a Bronco.Currently, the EFI302 has 106,443 miles on it&still runs good. Take care, and good luck with your '91 Bronco!
