Well, I did try to bring some heat back with us... Unfortunately I think maybe too much as the whole state of Kansas seemed to have gone up in smoke!

Good afternoon guys...

Well as a vote of confidence that spring is here to stay - I pulled the plow off of the Jeep... Neighbor helped out with his lawn tractor and we spread out a pre-emergent on the lawns - so hopefully that will keep the crabgrass from spreading and the dandelions to a minimum.

Randy what did you spread a granular or liquid? I am looking for a liquid for crabgrass but not sure what to use so I don't kill my lawn. You need to be a scientist or mathematician to be able to figure the labels for application.

We used granular again this year from ACE Hardware. It's on sale right now also. It's not one of those "more is better" things, so just make sure your broadcast spreader is moving when you start the flow..
