WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Karri found out two hours ago that she passed her NCLEX, and she's now officially an RN. Huge amount of stress is gone, we are pretty excited.
Awesome! Cheers to the next phase in the adventure of life.
I did some blood letting on the truck tonight. Returned the Kenwood open-box radio I'd gotten in Baxter, and got a Pioneer down here in Blaine. There was no **** or mic for the Kenwood, so the manager of BB said to call them and they'd send them out under warranty. So I emailed them, never got a response. Sent them a PM on facebook and got some marketing guy who said to call their 800#. I said "or you could have them reply to my email". So he gets my email, forwards it to a customer service manager who wants me to call them. I said "I'm already talking to you here - send me the stuff already" (I'd showed them a screen shot of my serial number, and offered a photo of my receipt). He says "I'm a manager, and I like talking to people." I said "I'm the customer, and I like having proof of what transpired." So he said "go deal with BB" and I said "Ok, I'll go get a Pioneer."
The Pioneer is much nicer than the Kenwood, but it's also way more expensive. I've put up with factory radios and fm transceivers for the past decade; it's time to have a decent stereo in the truck for how much time I spend driving. Having to unplug the radio's antenna so that the stations don't cross-talk and still having to switch stations twice depending on how close to the metro I am has taken it's toll. I've had enough!
I didn't really need a DVD player, but that's the only kind you can get that will display your phone's nav image on the main screen. I use the snot out of google maps.

Thanks guys, she's been on this path for almost three years now. She was enrolled in an accelerated second degree program that completed all the BSN requirements in 15 months. Had her going for about 16 hours per day, and the last six months have been prepping for this test.
I really need to get the new awning on the camper one of these days.
Need help with that?
