So truck got broken into yesterday which put me into a position of temporary defense. It is kind of something i had thought of a while back and alot cruder than my envisioned product. The basic idea is to make a plate that completely covers the factory door handle and also a small portion of the sheet metal. Possibly plasma cut with a cnc setup so it would look nice. Use 3m double sided tape and slightly heavy sheet metal that could be chromed, painted or even do them in stainless. The ideal being to armor plate the handle so a theif would bypass the truck since he wouldnt be able to simply break the key hole. On this one i had about 30 mins to make the plates and im staying in a hotel so i went a little overboard since my handle was damaged. I decided to run screws and drill out the phillips head to be 100% sure id be left alone
I saw a company that makes door jammers that go behind the handles...
I just got my truck so I've looked at a million sites, but I'll try and find them...
NM, Riff Raff Diesel has them, called Jimmie Jammers.... on the interior accessories section
My other truck is at my moms so i dont have to worry about 2 trucks getting broke in to. But about 5 years ago i has someone break into that truck like this one. The solution at that time was about the same as this time will be. Use a rear door handle and delete the keyhole. Havent had a issue since on that truck

Funny you say that, that's how I resolved my issue. Bought a rear handle and had the dealership paint it.
I had sent an Email to the place that was making the stainless steel door
handles and they have quit making them. Maybe if you do a group buy
they would think about doing a run of handles. I need 4 and of those only
the driver's door on mine has a key hole. While we are at this a metal tail gate
handle would be good also.
