broken door handle
I have a 99' f150 extended cab w/ some bad acuators so in order to open the door I have been using the key/lock. It just so happens that about a week ago I opened my passenger door and pushed the lock into the handle a few mm. Not a big deal it didnt look bad and rarley do I open the passenger door from the outside. Well today I go to leave work and go to open the driver side and pushed the lock into the handle, all the way to the inside of the panel. I got the key out and manged to open the door. When I took off the door panel etc and the lock was hanging on the inside w/ the clip and a plastic ring attached to it.
It looks to me like the little mounting part for the lock broke off of the inside handle as well as the end of the clip broke some.
Do I just need to buy new door handles and ill be set?

Yup. I got into it deep today rather than just a look and ill need a new handle sooner or later. The break was pretty jagged and fit back together quite well so I glued it back together for the time being.
