I have the same problem. I have a 2150 on 1 79 F150 with a 302, but there is no tag....
Any other way to ID it? I know it has a 1.21 bowl.
For your, since it has a tag, you can go to CARBS UNLIMITED INC. carburetors including Weber Edlebrock Holley Quadrajet and punch the number in on the tag and it will tell you exactly what you have.
I went to the local parts store to see if they had a remanufactured one in stock. All the info they had showed this truck to have a 2150 so It looks like this truck should have had a 2150 Carb on it instead of the 2100. I found a used one on ebay shipped to my house for $60 and a rebuild kit for less than $20. Maybe not the best option but at least now it'll have the right carb and it'll be a fresh one.
FYI that fuel inlet fitting screwed into the carb is actually a compressed air fitting. Might want to change that. I am not sure what thread the original carb has but that is not exactly correct and if it leaks then you may end up catching the engine on fire.
