Your opinions on this Excursion's WOT data log

Helping MisfitMoose trying to figure out his drop in fuel mileage. He was consistently 16+ but has recently dropped to 12-13. So we did a WOT run last night on the way to buying some oil, a steak dinner and many beers for me......

EBP and boost are both low. This is a stock WOT run, new EBP sensor & tube, new ICP sensor, it had a historical code for the CPS but not currently present. Drives good but it has a bit of a lag when getting on her.

What do you guys think about the data?

That would fit the bill. Sounds like boost or exhaust.

It's fueling and oiling just fine. The problem is airflow.

Exhaust leak, boost leak, or broken waste gate actuator. Check the easy stuff first, exhaust leaks are easy to spot. Broken actuator is easy if it can move by hand.

Good luck and let us know what you find. Enjoy the beers and steak too.

I agree. The turbo, even stock, should be spooling hard at 2300+ RPM. Seems like once it crosses a threshold, it makes more, but can't replace what was missing, hence the low top number.

Steak and Beer? Apparently I have been doing this all wrong...

Went to learn about the new oil specifications coming at the end of the year.....but I don't recall much after beer #4..... Except that the steak was good! I was hurting a bit & moving slower than normal this morning...... Wife said I snored like a Banshee last night, I guess that's why she kicked me.....

Here's the graph again with the min & max data I forgot initially (thanks for the writing the program ExPaCamper - John!)

It's fueling properly, assuming all the injectors are behaving. If there are no misses, then the air looks to be highly suspect - likely exhaust. Time for a soot safari.

You don't need to.........

With ExPaCamper's program you just data log with AE or Torque Pro and the software does the graphing. He's still working out a couple of things on it but it's just about there.

I agree on the exhaust side of the system, MAP looks like it follows EBP nice like it should, so to me that points as EBP being the issue.
