My new work truck!!!

As the title implies this is my new work truck its a 2001 f250 platinum edition 4x4 3.73 auto formally the Boss mans truck since new. Forgot to add completely stock untuched engine bay except for the 6637 mod I did a few years back.
heres some pics

And yes its a real Platinum Edition

Coming from a Yota, good truck but cannot carry all my tools without it sagging to the floor
Heres a pic of her

And when she hit 300k zero problems from that truck, still has original everything except timing belt and associated parts.

Gee I didn't know that little green kid sized dozer was so heavy it causes the Yota to sag to the floor!

had all the power I needed to tow but limiting me at only 6,200 lbs and an outstanding payload of 1200lbs my Miller welder/generator weight in the 800lbs plus my air compressor at 400lbs or more and another 300lbs of miscelanious tools it added quick. Good truck nothing wrong with but for my kind of use it was not enough, I had to upgrade

Platinums are my favorite version of the 7.3 powered trucks. There was a guy who used to post here under the name Platinum Pete who lived in Connecticut or Massachusetts. He had the MOST beautiful Platinum edition truck I ever saw. He brought it to RRE 1 back in the day. Congratulations!! I know you know these trucks, and you know how much more you are going to enjoy that truck over your Toyota.

Plans are re doing the front seats, rebuild the turbo (has a leaky front seal) and install all my equipment. I hate to drill holes but the bed is shot so ehh.

She looks to need a bit of TLC (maybe not if pure work truck), but it looks like a great deal. Congrats on the purchase.

Good looking truck. Get those front seats re-covered for sure.

382,000 miles in dry climate probably didn't help

Those seats never got the proper care either, no leather treatment they were neglected. But in good note I have all records from day 1and I know that truck had 4k oil changes, never towed anything and the boss was real **** about maintnace.
