Guys sorry if this has been addressed before, and I appreciate anyone that's gone before me to provide the R&D on this... Has anyone been able to buy the 08+ mirrors (cheaper set ~$200) off of eBay and had success in all electric functions out of the box? Or... Is there a way to get into the mirror and replace the wiring itself with the harness from our factory mirrors? I've got the stock 2005 tow mirrors on my Ex, and bought a set like I mentioned above. I'm sorta impatient and want to make the ones I received work if I can. Thanks!
When I did mine, mine were plug and play (2005). When we did Dad's F350, we had to use the adapter that came with it as well as rune wires for the heated mirror, and turn signal.
I've been searching for a couple of hours, and I can't find a correct mirror plug diagram for an 08+ truck. I'm wanting to cut my factory plug off my mirrors and splice to the mirrors I bought on ebay. FWIW I got power, heat, signal mirrors. Thanks.
If it helps, the mirrors I bought came with a 22pin plug of which 7pins are used (appears like pins 1 thru 7.) So, what trucks would've had a 22pin body plug using same 1 thru 7 pins? I have also contacted the seller in hopes he has a wiring diagram for the mirrors purchased. I feel like I may be over complicating this...
Here's a link to the set I bought:

Thanks Skip... I've decided to send these back. After jacking with the wiring debacle, I took a break and decided to just mount them for now. I'd deal the wiring later. I should've known better than to get these! There's about a 3/4" gap across the top when all bolts are snugged down good! #MadeInChina
After having gone the route of buying the cheaper ones off Amazon and Ebay save yourself some time and get in contact with Tony at 1AAuto.com and go through them. I tried two different sets of mirrors from different vendors, first set of glass was wavy on the outer edges and within a week cracked when the temps dropped. The next set looked worse on their glass, almost like a fun house clown mirror effect.
Purchased the ones from 1AAuto and everything bolted up, the seal is much higher quality and completely seals the mirror tight to the door and the glass / weight of it looks just like OEM.
There's a reason 1AAuto is a site sponsor, their products are top notch.

There was a little "tit" I had to trim off my china mirrors to get them to fit right. Sorry I don't have a pic, but just a thought... Pulled the weather strip off and trimmed, than put the weather strip back on. It was on the upper part of the housing, so that could be your issue too...
