2014 CC XLT Driver Mirror
I had somebody clip my driver's side mirror in the parking lot. I'm assuming another truck mirror because the body of my truck was not touched, but the mirror is busted and there's a few bits of plastic from the housing laying in the bottom of it. I went to Ford Parts and it says the mirror assembly is back ordered. There are similar mirrors all over Amazon and Ebay. Mine is BL34-17683-CE5YGY, black, power, turn signal, manual folding, non-heated and non-puddle light. The others appear to have the same connector so in theory those should work and retain my current workings and the others will just be empty pins since my truck doesn't have those already? Am I correct in this assumption? Has anybody replaced mirrors and have a good, reputable brand to recommend. Thanks

Found the answer while searching mirrors at lunch today. Same harness used in all of them and depending on your options you have a different number of live pins when plugged in. New one ordered and on the way.

I'd definitely recommend a factory part. I had purchased an Aftermarket thru A1 Auto and the quality just wasn't there. Mirror's shook, didn't line up properly with the body, etc. Ended up returning it and buying a factory part for $100 more that is much nicer. This was on the towing mirrors.

I tried ford-parts.com and two other Ford sites and they said the mirror was out of stock. The Ford part on Ebay was about $200 more than the Chinese version so I'll give it a shot. I only have the driver's side coming. If I don't like it I didn't lose much. I'd like to put tow mirrors on my truck, but I just squeeze in the garage with the current mirrors.

I went through Amazon and they had a bunch with the chrome caps on top, but I want to stick with black and I want the blind spot square in the upper left corner. Found one on Ebay and ordered it. Came in last night and it does not have the blind spot square in the upper left corner like advertised so I have a complaint sent back to the seller.
