Exclamation 4r75e question

Can a 4x4 trans be used in a 2wd application? If so what needs to be changed if anything.
Thank you

Yes it can. The output shaft and extension housing need to be changed.

The extension housing just bolts on. The output shaft requires a complete disassembly of the trans to change.

It's not a simple change. EVERYTHING comes out of the trans. The last part out is the output shaft. Put the new output shaft in, and then rebuild the trans.
