1990 F250 trans
Is the trans the same from a 2wd and a 4wd truck, it is an aod. TIA

Tail shaft and tail shaft housing are different...

The tail shaft can be changed BUT it requires a COMPLETE tear down of the transmission.. The housing is a bolt on change, BUT it only works if the shaft was changed...
