Ok here's the jist of the situation. My truck is stalling when I go to stop at a stop sign or a stop light and sometimes when I go to put it in reverse. Im going to clean the IAC and then check the EGR. I also have been told that the torque converter could be a suspect. So theres three things and the fourth I was told to look at is that the transmission filter may have come unseated and need to be reattached so to speak. If anyone has any ideas where to point me in a more guided direction as to what to look at first please give me a shout. I love this truck and haven't been able to drive it much over the past six months because of this.

The first thing to check is the transmission fluid level. Low trans fluid can cause this. If the level is correct when checked with the trans warmed up and the engine idling in park, then you need to look at line pressure.
Get a 0-350 PSI gauge. Install it in the test port on the driver's side of the trans. Record pressures at idle in P, R, N. D, 2, and 1. Also record pressures in R, D, 2, and 1 with your foot HARD on the brakes and the accelerator pedal on the floor. WARNING: NEVER HOLD WIDE OPEN THROTTLE AND NOT MOVING FOR MORE THAN FIVE (5) SECONDS AT A TIME OR YOU WILL NEED A NEW TORQUE CONVERTER. Idle in park or neutral for 30 seconds after each 5 seconds at WOT.
