Bent Fuel Line

Still useable? If not, is the whole line one piece or is it connected somewhere, it is the supply line to the secondary fuel filter.

At 210.00 per injector I wouldn't risk it. I believe it is one of the two that quick connects near the drivers side head.

It goes from the HFCM to the secondary fuel filter and fits pre April (or so) 04 trucks. Personally I don't think it would be a serious problem as long as you're not driving WOT all the time. I would HIGHLY recommend a fuel pressure gauge to watch it though. If it's on a stock tuned truck you're definitely OK, at least until you get a replacement.

I am waiting on some other parts before I put it back together anyway, broke the dang ear off the housing in the same dumb mistake where I bent the line, anybody got a good website to get a replacement? Might as well just replace it while I have the top of the motor off, It's tuned but not turned up real high, have an SCT Livewire tuned by MPT and have it on street mode, just want the truck to run as efficiently and stress free as possible to make it last

Looks like someone didn't use 2 wrenches, one on the line nut and one on the fitting. The line isn't to far gone and totally collapsed. Personally, I'd re-assemble it, with the fitting in the housing loose 1/2 a turn. Tighten the line nut to the fitting tight. Then tighten it and straighten the line at the same time. If I'm not clear just ask.

I managed to do that to mine a while back. I don't know about yours, but I can't find the correct one for mine anymore. Ford says they don't make them anymore. I've been running mine that way for quite a while, and have no problems. Fuel pressure stays right at 60, give or take a couple of psi. I've got a new line from Ford, but it won't fit. It's for an early 04. If you can't find one, I'll sell this one cheap if it looks like it'll fit. Anybody got a thought on finding the correct replacement for mine? That is the one that quick connects by the head.

You are correct sir, the ONE time I didn't use a backup wrench the results are this bent fuel line and me getting to order a new oil/fuel filter housing, I definitely learned my lesson. That is a good idea I will try that and see if I can get it to straighten out, thanks man I never would have thought of that!
