Thanks for all the info and help from everyone. I do use the additive and once a month I'm going to drain filter to make sure no water gets to the injectors. Also have a log book to keep a record every time I get fuel and keep the receipts. I had to make a big stink but the dealer did the right thing.
Hopefully I get my truck back tomorrow. I still have no idea how metal shavings got into the fuel system with only 2500 miles the dealer told me it was almost $10,000 to replace.
Crystal the ford rep that you had call me gave me a 5/75K mile extended warranty. I asked him if I could pay the difference for an upgraded warranty 5/125K seeing how it was almost $10,000 to replace the defective equipment on my new truck with only 2500 miles. He said no and he didn't have to do that, then goes into his rehearsed speech on the history of ford how long ford has been in business and how many vehicles ford sells every year and also said that sometimes defective vehicles slip through the cracks. So did I get one of them ? The upgraded warranty would make me feel comfortable. My intelligence doesn't need to be insulted, I didn't just climb out from under a rock I know ford has been around and sells a lot of vehicles but so doesn't GM and Dodge/Ram. This is my 6th ford truck I've always been happy that's why it's my 6th. I would feel comfortable having that warranty knowing that after only 2500 miles and in the dealer for over 2 weeks so far for almost $10,000 worth of defective repairs. So if I have 80K miles and my fuel system fails again and my radiator and turbo fails? that's not going to a happy customer.

Believe you have a 5 yr / 100k powertrain warranty anyway? Wouldn't this cover the fuel system? Also, it would cover the turbo, but probably not the radiator?
Troverman none of that would be covered under the powertrain warranty that's what the ford rep told me. I would feel comfortable if it was. Anything on the inside of the engine is covered by the powertrain warranty anything on the outside of the engine is not covered

Allow me to ease your mind. Here is the warranty definition direct from Ford for a 2016 Powerstroke 6.7L engine:
Your vehicle’s direct injection diesel engine and certain engine
components are covered during the PowerStroke Diesel Engine Coverage
Period, which lasts for five years or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs
first. The following parts are covered during this extended coverage
period: the engine, cylinder block, heads and all internal parts, intake
and exhaust manifolds, timing gear, harmonic balancer, valve covers, oil
pan and pump, water pump, fuel system (excluding fuel lines, fuel tank
and frame mounted fuel conditioning module sometimes referred to as
the frame mounted pump/filter/water separator or frame mounted fuel
filter/water separator), high pressure lines, gaskets and seals, glow plugs, turbocharger, two-stage turbocharger assembly, turbocharger actuator,
powertrain control module, high pressure fuel injection pump assembly, injectors, injection pressure sensor, fuel rail pressure sensor, exhaust
back pressure regulator and sensor, exhaust pressure sensor, manifold
pressure sensor, intake air temperature sensor, crankshaft position
sensor, camshaft position sensor, accelerator switch.
