Did you remove the VGT solenoid and reinstall without new o-rings?
After cleaning what is your hot idle EBP psi?
Josh
Was afraid to touch the vgt.
Ebp is unplugged.....it and the pigtails need replacement.
Only reason I'm not putting that into the equation is the ladt time this happened i unplugged the ebp and that fixed it.
Too bad you're so far away, the Turbo Test on IDS would be perfect for you
Josh
That is what I was thinking. Too bad it's one one of the tests that can be triggered some other way.

EEK need to fix that first. It is taken into the equation for the amount of boost desired and the VGT %.
Having it out of the picture would make things act a bit odd.

Was thinking that but it didn't have an effect on tge turbo when unplugged last time.....or i should say it fixed the issue? Butnyour right. Was trying to figure it out BEFORE i put it in the shop but I guess I'll ley them deal with it.
Having fun with it now since it'll be going to the shop. Drove it to work yesterday and today. Yesterday morning same ole crap BUT had a mind of its own. Running 70 the turbo would free up to normal the stick then free then stick. Basically i had to floor it and boost to 28 or so then it would realse, soon as it did a few seconds later stick again. Did it all 38 miles to work. On the way home after 8 hrs sitting it was normal all the way home. This morning was normal to work and home until i stopped in town and shut it off for 5 minutes. Started back up and it was stuck. Would only unstick if i boosted to 28 it would be fine for a second then stick again.
