Hey guys, I've been doing a ton of reading on the forums (even the "Everything You Need To Know" thread) but I'm unable to find the answer I need. I have an 05 F150 FX4 and the 4WD stopped working. About 4 years ago I replaced the IWE solenoid on the firewall with the "updated" design, now when I turn the switch to 4H all I hear is a clicking, presumably the transfer case motor but I'm not real sure. I don't get the 4HIGH indicator on the dash and the wheels are not locked in. When I try 4LO the system seems to work like it's supposed to> Any ideas on what would cause these issue only when using 4 high?

it sounds like the transfer case motor does not stroke to full position if you only get the light on 4L but not 4H.......... I would pull the motor off the case and look.. set on a bucket and operate it while not installed so you can see it move.
