Be careful as some of the rebates are tied to ford credit use. If your not using them then you don't get that rebate.
When I bought my last Ford, I used Ford finance to borrow $1k. I got the rebate and paid it off the next month. Kind of silly that you need to do that to get the price the advertised price.
It is usually easy to find which dealer. Search on the Ford site, there is a wider area option that is a little hard to find. When you find a truck of interest, copy the VIN number from the window sticker and put that into Google. Very likely it will pop up on that dealer's website. That's how I found mine. I agree you are usually better off dealing with the people who actually have it.
One of the Ford incentives is Ford Credit, you must have them finance it. For long enough to get the first bill, about 10 days or so. Then you can pay it off with cash or a refinance. (This was suggested to me by the selling dealer). I was advised to wait for the paperwork from Ford, you will pay a minimum finance charge (about the first month's interest). Keep in mind that when you refinance through your bank, the refi rate is often higher than the new purchase rate, and you may end up paying a little more (though less than Ford Credit...).
We looked into that, didn't do it as then it was financing a used truck. We got a great rate from the bank So Ford credit wasn't worth using. Just make sure you check it out first going both ways
