Pricing (Platinum)

Looking for hints/feedback.

I'm looking HARD at a 2017 f2/350, crewcab, long bed, 4x4, 6.7.

The trucks are sticking around 77/78k and be the best I can seem to get them down is around 71k (with 2k in incentives via car show / loyalty).

Ive looked at invoice pricing (at least on the 11k in options) and it seems to be close/matich.

I just find it hard to believe that theyre aren't showing indications of more margin or a willingness to drop further.

This is still a new model and sales are doing very well. Why do you think Ford would want to give these things away? I think buying for $71k on a $78k sticker is a very good deal. On my truck that I ordered, I used X-plan pricing which is very similar to invoice. There were no incentives. I felt like the price was reasonable given the newness. Once the 2018 trucks are on the dealer lots, there might be a few incentives for 2017 models. But as long as sales are strong, it would be foolish for Ford to reduce the price on these things.

Pricing will be different by location and definitely country. I live in British Columbia and this is the sticker for my 350 CCSB SRW White Platinum Platinum (Platy x2!)

Explanation and picture of Ford Window Sticker

It stickers $90,700 Canadian. I managed to get it for $76,000 Canadian ($56,600 USD). I'm very happy with the price on mine!

I suppose one of my questions would be regarding factory to dealer incentives, what are than and how much is there?

Good luck finding that out.... And if you can get a dealer to evan admit that there is one.... again good luck getting them to give you any of it.

BTW: If you can get a deal at around 10% below MSRP that seems to be about right. Minus rebates.

Sticker on my 2017 Platinum was $76,560. I was able to get them down to $68,500 with all rebates and incentives. Took about 3 weeks of beating them up but I got to the number I wanted. Inventory is low so you have to find a dealer willing to deal.
