Did you happen to change your high mount brake light to an LED unit? Many circuits, especially older ones, cannot handle the inrush surges of LED lights. If a high heat resistor isn't incorporated into the LED unit to compensate for heat dissipation, damage to the circuit may result. It took out my brake switch twice before I figured it out. We can't pass smog with anything lit on the dash. Not even the turn signals! Good luck, and good truck!!
