Matt, I just went out and looked at mine, it has about 2" of clear open room in front of the stock steel cover. The one I linked to doesn't show that it holds any extra capacity so I would assume that a stock-ish contour even with the fins should be fine.
Thanks Tom!! I'm just starting to clean up/paint underneath my Ex and that cover would be a nice upgrade to the rusty stock version. I figured you had that aftermarket piece on your Ex.

A bit off topic but I pulled the rear shocks (40,000 miles) blasted and painted them today.Eventually I'll do everything underneath. It's really in great shape overall. Found some inspection type marks..so I put the marks back. (Too many years restoring cars...)
