2016 FX4 Shocks

I was curious to ask will the 2016 FX4 shocks fit 2005? They are the Rancho OEM factory shocks that I could get very cheap until I get my lift since I need new ones any how. If they fit I will pick them up but wanted to ask first before doing so. They seem to come with some brackets of some kind and I don't believe my truck uses those.

My next question is I know most people change these out so are they even worth getting at a price of $60 for complete package?

As for the shocks just take one off the truck and match them up. If they are the same length compressed and expanded than use them.

It depends on 2 things. You would need to match them to each other, although I think they are interchangeable, and 2nd they would have to be very cheap as they are not true Rancho shocks, just labeled as such by Ford.
