Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 57.9°, 98% Humidity, overcast and few very widely scattered sprinkles. Actually seems like it is trying to dry out, although the fortune tellers are saying there is a 70% chance of rain.

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just got home from project trip #2 to Lowes.
Working on installing a new fan with light kit the Warden insisted we get this past Spring (March). We knew it would be a fall project. There are no fixtures and no wires in the living room ceiling so I'll have to run all of that from scratch. Going to have to get a ceiling brace and fan box in the ceiling as well. Area is not accessible from above as the bedroom upstairs has carpet over a hardwood floor. Between the plaster construction (not drywall) and having to fish Romex between the ceiling below and the floor above, I'm sure it will be exciting.
Got the old ceiling fan put back together with a new 3 speed switch. Did a couple of other things to it, including taking the motor case off and blowing it out. It now seems to be all healed up and working fine. Replaced the battery in the smoke detector that is on the ceiling just a couple of feet from it.......

Goodnight all. The little guy and I had a rough evening (he had a lot of painful gas). Other than that it was a good day. I've got a big Home Depot run to make tomorrow. I need 35 posts and 70 2x4s to finish up my fence and HD sent me a 15% off coupon that expires soon. I'll be buying a few other things I need for Fall/Winter as well.

Goodnight Evan. Warden is home from work now so it is time to pay attention to other things.
Once you get done with your fence, I've got about 60' of fence here to finish up if you would like to keep in practice.
