If grandpa likes airplanes and rocket ships, give me an advance notice and we could spend some time out at the Spruce Goose. Might give him a little hope and something to look forward to.
He has gotten to sitting on his a** not doing much and he's knees are weak now. I will see about bribing him with that though.
I think I'm finally getting over this cold....it sure is taking a while tho. Almost 50 degrees here today.....
The Spruce Goose sounds like a good bribe...hope it works.
Belated good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Dodging rain showers and MIL here. Not much else going on today.

Thought it might be an option since you are bringing him to Mac for PT.
"We do have several wheelchairs and a couple of scooters available for guests. They are available on a first come, first serve basis. The earlier you arrive to the Museum, the better chance that one is available. Just ask at the admissions desk for a wheelchair or scooter when you arrive."
Sometimes it is best to be armed with the information needed to counter the excuse for not doing something.
First hand experience from dealing with my MIL and now my own mother. With my mother it is an on again - off again fight. Recently though with the way my sister has been treating her (like a 2 year old invalid) she is raring and willing to go anyplace at anytime my wife and I offer to take her anywhere.
Oops two family members with knee problems.
Jim my Dad is in McMinnville after knee replacement surgery, Grandpa is in Forest Grove moping around and being a grump.
Well......if I remember my membership correctly I can take up to 3 guests and 4 kids in with me. Dad one day, gramps the next....leave the wife at home (& die) bring dad and gramps + you = 3. It's all workable one way or the other.
Is your dad in an ACLC or private residence?
I'll trade you 2 family members with knee problems for 2 with dementia...Oh wait, mom has had a Knee replacement so I'll have to throw my sister in just to off set the addition of the dementia combined with knee problems.
Good Evening Ford Fans', had a quiet day today got a few project done.
