Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Scattered showers and wet most all day long. High School Graduation today so we were surrounded by that mess as well.
Saw those Roy. I was in and out of Fallon sporadically doing Weapons Testing stuff from mid 75 through the fall of 76! That wasn't one of your F-86 drones we shot down when the AIM 9 Sidewinder test went screwy was it?

Nope.....Someone did launch 2 sidewinders on one of our Triple A sites......
Goodnight everyone. Owen is gaining weight like a champ, so we got that part figured out. They are still concerned about his breathing so they are keeping him another night. He has a smaller/shorter than normal lower jaw which causes his tongue to sit too far back in his throat. A lot of kids outgrow it on their own, but if his oxygen saturation doesn't stay high enough when he's sleeping they may need to do a surgery to extend his jaw.
We are hoping to avoid surgery, but what we want most is a healthy boy.
Good evening. Owen is getting discharged now and we're headed home. The docs want him on oxygen while he sleeps, and they are ordering a full sleep study for him in a couple weeks. From there they will decide if he needs surgery.
Great news that you are all getting to go home Evan.
I take it the SaO2 levels when sleeping aren't quite where they would like to see them or are they just being overly cautious until they have definitive results from the sleep study?
A few views of Glenn's museum....Yesterday he hosted a group of members of the tractor and engine club from Salem that puts on the Steam Up every year. Glenn has belonged to their group for years. At 82, he is still going strong and loads up an engine or two most weekends in the summer and heads to a show. A few of us locals went over to give him a hand with preperations for yesterday. It takes about 3 of us to keep up with him.

I'm thinking they are being cautious until the full sleep study, but his breathing is often pretty noisy, so better safe than sorry.
