Good afternoon everyone. The 4 hour drive to Seattle yesterday actually took 7 hours because of traffic. We stayed with my sister last night and we are now waiting for the doctor.
Belated good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
This afternoon and evening turned into a real barn burner. Tourists started playing demolition derby and tearing their cars and themselves up. Then, just to keep from being out done, a few locals had to join the tourists just to see who could out smash whom.
There was so much idiocy going on this afternoon and evening that Mutual Aid had to be called in from two different Counties, 4 different fire districts, 6 different communities and the LEO's weren't any different. It's strange to see a Police car from a town 20 miles away go screaming by Code 3.
They ended up calling out reserves and retired old farts for additional bodies.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 50.3 and mostly sunny. Still some clouds hanging around, but it is drying out and I was able to get a couple of things done outside this morning.

Good morning Jim and Chris. We will be headed back home from Seattle this morning. The cranio-facial doctor checked Owen out and said that his case is pretty mild and she doesn't think surgery is needed. He should outgrow his squeaky breathing by 6 months and his lower jaw will probably catch up in growth by 5 years. It's a relief to know that he doesn't need surgery. They gave us a special foam wedge pillow and sling for him to sleep in that will help him breathe better. They also said he doesn't need the oxygen.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just calling it quits and coming inside for the night. Also had to run to town to get a couple of gas cans to replace two old ones I have that seem to be leaking. Just got to love plastic.
Anyway, after getting the replacement gas cans, I decided I would drive another 7 miles up the road since I was up that direction anyway, and get some Non Ethanol gasoline. We have 2 stations that carry it and I have to go 20 or 27 miles one way to get it. Most for our camping trips, Chain Saw, Generator, Boat Motor and some for the lawn mower and the rest for the mower, Rototiller and Mantis back/arm vibrator here at the house. They certainly do not give that stuff away! $4.05 a gallon. I think when this is gone I'm going to try using regular gas and add the Starbrite / Startron Enzyme Ethanol treatment.....
