Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Made it home from the Cemetery Association Meeting and the Stewart Family Reunion.
Now I need to break out the wet/dry shop vac and vacuum 35 cups of coffee out of the trunk as well as get the carpets washed, dried and put back in....
Well we were taking a 35 cup coffee pot over to the Cemetery Association meeting. I had put it in a big bucket and placed it in the trunk of the car. I had the bucket braced not to move with 30 lbs of led cannon ***** from my downriggers. Apparently when my sister put the coffee cups and other items in the trunk, she moved the cannon ***** and someplace between the farm house and the cemetery and old school house we meet in - the bucket & coffee pot tipped over.
Later I asked my sister if she moved the cannon ***** and she said they were in the way...
Did you get the chance to fire her out of the cannon...
Not those types of cannon *****, but I sure would like to go shark fishing in about 250 feet of water in the ocean. Any guesses who would be on the bait line just above the cannon ***** and trailing out behind?????
Ah, never mind. SCPA would probably not consider that sport fishing and try to come after me for trying to poison the sharks.
I didn't even leave the place today and got into plenty of trouble. Decided to burn the weeds I had sprayed a couple of weeks ago. Slowly and carefully I went, just burning a little at a time with my weed burner....lookin' good...workin' good....rather than leave well enough alone, I decided to make one last pass before calling it good. A gust of wind caught it and into a pile of duff under a pine tree and up the tree the flame went. My son grabbed the hoses, but we were about 20 feet short, so I ran across the street to a neighbor and got a hose from him. Got the fire out in short order, but I'm afraid the tree likely will not survive. A little excitement for the grandsons anyway.......
Since that worked so well, I decided to try to get my big 6hp John Deere engine to run right....I was hoping to get it running to take to a show in Pendleton this weekend....However in the process of trying to get the magneto off.....I managed to break the base of the mag where it bolts on. That ended me trying to accomplish anything today.
Other than that, it was a great day today.
