Does anyone know the part number for ANCO (or Trico?) refills for the 13" blade for the 'Red Dot' wiper arm set up? I want to keep the vintage look and use all the metal pieces I have. Seems easy enough to just push the 'red dot' button, releasing the metal clasp, slide out the rubber refill which has a metal spline.
Thanks, Dave. Seems no one carries plain old refills (that would fit the red-dot wiper head); a few guys on ebay selling NOS. So I went to local NAPA and they had these in stock, p/n 60-1337 if anyone wants to buy same. Far left is my old crusty Trico. Center is new one; right shows mounted on original wiper arm.
Bill, if understand correctly went with the Advance/CARQUEST Trico wiper blade. Have a chore tomorrow and will be passing both the Advance/CARQUEST auto parts, who refer to the p/n as 13-1, and Napa auto parts who do not appear to offer a options?
Hi Dave,
I bought NAPA 60-1337 blades (metal frame with pre-loaded refills) for $17.98 for a pair (they are sold individually).
For info purposes: Local Napa Auto did not carry the 13" wiper blades with the P/N mentioned, but did carry what they refer to as the 'classic' replacement wiper blade @ $10 each, and they looked cheap. Napa does carry a wiper blade fillers described as 'thin' type but I did not bring the old to compare and held off.
Happened to stop at the hick town Boulder Creek Auto parts store and they carry the 13" wiper blade fillers Trico 44-130, not listed in either Trico, or Advance/CARQUEST website. Looked flimsy, but at $7.75 for the pair figure what the heck, now waiting for rain this eve. to test. Anyhow, if in a pinch something to consider?
Top filler (old)/Bottom filler (new):
Nice presentation Dave - cool table.
Stay dry, we're supposed to get pounded with rain this weekend. We sure need it. You'll get to try out your new wipers.

Appreciate the comment. Wipers work fine, use caution when installing, as noted the rubber is kinda flimsy.
Imagine it's hunker down season for all. 5" in Dec. and counting, rain season has not arrived yet.
For info purposes. As mentioned, I was unable to find a wiper blade replacement I felt kept the original appearance so decide to go with refill blades. As a follow up; Found Trico offers a 13" refill wiper blade that has the metal wiper support 43-130 as opposed to the plastic: 44-130, for the same price, the plastic is a bit more flexible, whether one is more durable than the other???
Mentioned in prior post I found the 44-130 blade somewhat flimsy and during installation created a slight tear. Found it annoying when the wiper swept across the windshield so I decided to try another brand; AcDelco 8-5133, which has the metal blade support but for about $4 more. IMO the Ac blade was slightly beefier, whether worth the additional cost ??? Anyhow, for what it's worth??
I bought a set of wiper rubber replacement blades from mid America Ford in Arizona we really don't get that much rain here and If we do I very seldom drive my 55 in it. But to get a safety inspection the have to be installed and operational. My 55 was converted to electric 6 volt wipers. I changed that and reinstsllled the original vacuum system with a vacuum can. The wipers that amid America sells. Arei think trico. And possibly made in USA NAPA sells alot of Chinese parts. I've been trying to get away from that and ask that great question is this Chinese ? AJ
I have a 64 and I thought my blades were original they’re 16 inch. Couldn’t find them then anywhere. found the part number Anco u-16r and bought them off of eBay.
Did a search with the 13 in
the part number and found these. I bet they’ll work and the guy selling them for $10 a pair including shipping. He has a bunch of these NOS blades. Let me know if they work.
