I had no issues with installing or reporting the update, but now I wish had not done it. Each time I use SIRI - whether by pressing and holding the button on my wheel (for way more than 3 seconds) or by accessing SIRI directly through the phone, Sync switches my music input from my USB to Bluetooth and doesn't switch back when finished, so I have to take my eyes off of the road and go back and reselect my USB as my source each time. Since it is on the second screen of my options, I spend that much more time NOT watching the road - which was supposedly the point of this update - not taking your eyes off of the road to access SIRI.
Or, just fix the next update so that it doesn't switch to Bluetooth input and stay there whenever I use Siri. It never did this before the update.
Seriously though Mike, I do appreciate the suggestion. I had forgotten about being able to switch inputs with voice command. I don't think I should have to though.
Whitney, shot you required information last week in PM. Thank you for looking into this for me. Jim
Hey Jim,
I've been out of the office. I'm checking your PM now.

I did this update back in October. Took about 30 minutes and the truck MUST be running the whole time the update is going on. Update went great without any problems.
The only problem was trying to report the update on Ford owner site. If you have this problem on the owner website reporting the update, do not worry. As soon as you can, run a Vehicle Health Report and the status on the owner website will be updated to show you Sync revision installed.
The 2016 may already have the update. You can check the status of your Sync on the Ford Owner website. My 2016 fusion came with it already installed
This link should take you to the page to check for Sync revisions.
If not, Log into your account on Ford Owner site, click the Sync How Tos tab and then Check for Sync Updates and then on right side under you vehicle info click Full Sync History.
This is what the update does for you:

Hi KR2012F250,
Is the menu blank? What happens when you press the GEAR WHEELS, select SETTINGS, and then SYSTEM?
