93 7.3 IDI build

I wonder what it would cost to have valve covers and hard lines chromed... always thought it would look pretty badass. Short of that will be pretty much the same as yours with the exception of dark IH red instead of blue, and IH grey for black. Whats the shelf in back? Almost looks like a mopar convertible?

i looked everywhere for stainless injector lines, couldnt find any.
i had these lines powder coated a couple months back, and they dont hold up to install and uninstalling.
new steel lines are 500 bucks!!!
id pay up to 700 for a nice set of stainless lines, but noone makes them!
in the back, my high dollar shelf is
my very first muscle car.
1968 Pontiac GTO Vert.
400/4speed
ive had it for 20 years.
i have to get my 4 truck projects done before i work on her.
but she will be top notch one day, just not twoday.

when i decided to build an engine for this truck, i was trying to go low buck.
tore my engine down, and found out it needed everything..
tore another engine's heads off and i didnt like the pistons, but it still ran, so i freshened it up, and rattle canned it.
did the same with #3 engine you see here.
its still a viable engine, and will be used in a hotrod project.
i didnt want to use the nice engine, because i still have some welding n grinding to do.
so this one went in for mock up.
it was sitting in my shop in the way neways!!
got this badboy installed... and man it sets the engine compartment off..
i cant wait till the compartment is painted, and done!!!

all cast iron and steel was painted with cast iron rattle can.
both were done with a "caliper paint"
i found it to be more durable than regular rattle can.
heres the engine in my bronco with the cast iron rattle can, and black.

Whoa, nice work! What kind of intake hat is that for your turbo? (Sorry I'm not well versed in all the different setups) I like how clean and minimalist the turbo install is, very clean.
Did you fab the entire wheel wells or is that what they look like under the factory insulation?
Twins under a year old...crazy! I just have one little guy at 1.5 years now, still can't get anything in the garage done. It's an amazing blessing but lots of work too.
Keep up the quality wrenching/fabing!
