Entered a little social media contest with Ford a couple of months ago. Just got the call today saying I was selected as a candidate for a mini series Ford is going to do with current Super Duty owners in line with the release of the 2017 SDs. They let you go out in the field with the engineers and put the new trucks through their paces/behind the scenes look at production. It will be a "reality show" type series where current owners will give their opinions about the new trucks coming out next fall!
So, feel free to help me get the ole "think tank" full of ideas to give the engineers a run for their money! I'm extremely excited!
Glad you made it through UGA33! I made it through a few rounds but as soon as I sent them my head shot I never heard from them again. Gee, I wonder why?
See if they changed the Nav system out from the MyFord. Supposed to have a front camera. Look for availability to add additional cameras, For hitching up GN trailers in bed or on back of horse trailer or 5vers for backing up.
The 6.7L still has some years left in production, So I doubt you will see much changed on the powertrain. But if the truck weighs 700 lbs lighter like the F150s, performance should be up a little.
Lets hope they had 1-2 mpg improvement in fuel mileage.
Look for better lights. Something better than the old Halogens. Hopefully some LED technology.
I bet you have to sign a Non-Disclosure agreement, So you may not be able to describe much to us. But go an have fun.
