The 6.7L still has some years left in production, So I doubt you will see much changed on the powertrain. But if the truck weighs 700 lbs lighter like the F150s, performance should be up a little.

Lets hope they had 1-2 mpg improvement in fuel mileage.

Look for better lights. Something better than the old Halogens. Hopefully some LED technology.

I bet you have to sign a Non-Disclosure agreement, So you may not be able to describe much to us. But go an have fun.
I think they said they reinvested the weight savings from the aluminum back into the drivetrain.

I'm sure there will be some kind of disclosure agreement.

That's awesome! Definitely jealous here as well. Would be an experience to kick ideas around with some of those guys. Do you know when or where this show will air?

Larger fuel tank is a must and more user friendly nav/dash/entertainment system.

Not sure if newer models have this but factory DEF gauge in cluster (i know it can be added on screen but why not make it show by default or at least let driver turn on/off not dealer).

Suppose to be on average 300 lbs in savings with the switch to AL.

Rest was reinvested into the powertrain.

IMHO a worthy investment.

I only post when it gets really silly. Only there to track trends and keep up with the latest on delete info for buddies. It is a very backwards place. They talk about us drinking the "koolaid". I, for the life of me, can't figure out what a lot of them cats are drinking. The butt hurt is strong over there. It is literally the polar opposite of this place.

Ford media sent feelers out everywhere, Senix was in the picture for quite awhile. Congrats on making it in because I hear it was not easy.

Awesome...

The changes look good on paper and I hope that they translate well into the actual product.

I had something similar I guess for the pre launch of the F-150, not anywhere near involved though.

I would have much preferred the Super Duty something I actually am interested in!

It's pretty amazing how quickly things can get side tracked when talking one brand to another. It's definitely a different environment. I'm careful where I step...so I don't step in it.

My favorite is when someone tells of an issue they are having with their truck and is looking for honest advice on dealing with it, and then count how many posts later before someone says something along the lines of "well, at least it's not a Ford".
