Injector Life?
I still have the WIF and have even seen the light so to speak. Good filters are a given with any automobile for the
most part now a days. The VW Beetle did not have a filter it had a screen. Dirty fuel can cause problems and even kill
one of the newer 6.4 and 6.7 engines. On oil most will say that full synthetic is the best. If you don't drive a lot or it
sits all winter and comes out for the summer 6,000 miles then I would go full synthetic just because of the stability factor.
If you drive the wheels off (1,000's miles week) it having the dino/synt blend that Ford says to use will save you some cash.
One of the biggest killers of injectors is Fuel Pressure. This can be do to poor filter change times. Need to install the regulator
update aka Blue Spring kit. Blocked in tank pickup or a failing fuel pump that has been let go.
Speaking of all of this I need to go out and drain my water separator and change the filters they are due.

EDIT : Best info on this engine can be had from Srmastertech or DieselTechRon on Youtube and people here.
I had no problem doing the pass side without messing with the evap shroud. A flex 12mm gearwrench made it pretty simple.
to get the bolts back into the oil rail.
