Wiring questions

Bought an EZ wire kit. When those of you that rewired their trucks, did you use you original light switch? Is the voltage drop only for the gauges on the dash, or is it also for the dash lights?

Thanks for your help

Marc

Should only be for the gauges.

I'd spring for an NOS light switch and floor dimmer switch. This will save headaches later on.

I rewired my 1960 F100 with a GM style, universal wire kit from Speedway. I then used the light switch provided in the kit and retrofitted the Ford **** to it. The kit allowed for the floor mounted dimmer. I also incorporated all new universal gauges and a headlight relay kit into the upgrade.
