You need to address the FICM first as that will cause starting problems and possible injector codes.
Ok so are you saying that the ficim is no good? Can you give me a link for the procdure to test the ficim please?
It is located at the top of this forum and is marked the tech folder. If your FICM main voltage is below 45 at anytime the FICM needs to be repaired and the best place to get that done is at www.ficmrepair.com Ed has a stellar reputation on here and is the only one I would trust working on my FICM, in fact the one I have in my truck came from Ed.
The "probably" is because low voltage can be a bad relay, bad batteries (except yours are new so it probably isn't batteries), a bad ground, an electrical short ................. etc. While it is most likely a FICM issue, the OP needs to do some troubleshooting to make sure (or send it off to someone who will test it and give good/honest feedback. Personally, I would send it to FICMrepair.com.

I would not try to start it again until the FICM is repaired. As soon as Ed gets it he will call you and let you know if it is Tango Uniform. With that low of voltage, your injectors are probably seeing a higher than normal current. That is not a good thing. Also, when you get it repaired, have Ed through in a new FICM power relay. I highly recommend the Ultimate Upgrade and Atlas 80 tune. It is a little pricy but it is AWESOME!!!!!

Thanks for the referral, guys! Yep, indeed that FICM has seen better days. Shoot it on over and we'll take great care of you. If you can't do the downtime, we can also take care of you with a plug and play unit on exchange!
The lowest we've seen a FICM start a truck is down at 18 volts. You are DEFINITELY down in the record-book territory!
Seriously, though, please PLEASE check out your alternator and batteries. SOMETHING caused that FICM to go south. We need to both address the root cause of the issue and take care of the issue that that root problem caused (the now dead FICM).
If it IS an alternator issue, it's a well-documented fact that the stock alternator is woefully too small. The smallest unit we carry puts out at idle what the factory one does at its peak!
