Does Archoil really work?

Hi there I was just cruising around YouTube and I ran across an additive called Archoil 9100 for oil and 6200 for fuel. They say it improves fuel economy , has a hard boron lubricant film that is very slippery and hard to brake. Engine runs better and stabilize fuel etc. Powestroke help.com with Billy H. Gave a challenge to try the product. So I looked up on YouTube, and people that did the challenge said it truly works. I am looking forward to use ar9100 and6200 on my 72 f250 . Has anyone used this product? Should I give it a shot?

Yeah, all that stuff is junk. Except the magnets that go around the fuel line, the pinwheel supercharger under the carb and the pellets in the fuel tank that replate the rings.

That's great, Ted. But instead of putting those pellets in the plug holes, a guy should slip one 1/4/20 locknut in each hole, start and rev to 3000 for one minute.
That way he is sure to get new rings, pistons and valves in six weeks.

Don't even need a 1/4-20 nut. A friend of mine dropped a 10mm jam nut down the intake of his Jetta. He said it made a heck of a racket when he started it up. Called me over to have a look. It destroyed the rod bearing (discovered this post mortem) and made nice impressions in the head and piston top. Looked like a pulley key. We put it back together, but it still only lasted about three miles.

I use Sta-Bil to stabilize fuel, but that is for storage over the winter for the lawnmower & stuff. I doubt there is much you could do to improve the gas mileage in our old trucks (significant improvement I mean). I haven't heard of the Archoil with boron micro-lubricant, the additive I normally use is STP (or the parts store brand version of it) and that is just to thicken the oil so it leaks a little slower

Having just had to chip out of the 360's water jacket what looked like years of a steady diet of Stop Leak, I'm even more resolute in being anti-snake oil. Yes, I'm a hater...
