Marvels Mystery oil use in fuel or oil

Basic question is after reading the label its not ulsd compliant, however I hear its still good to use in the fuel and has great lube properties for the high press fuel pump, however how will it affect the DPF and regen process? And what if any good would it do for the engine oil?

Should or should not use? Any feedback would be appreicated. Thank you

That stuff is trash. The only verified use is its ability to extract money from your wallet. There was a study almost ten years ago comparing fuel additives, and in that study MMO actually decreased the lubricity of the tested fuel.

Lubricity Additive Study Results - Diesel Place : Chevrolet and GMC Diesel Truck Forums

Leave that stuff where it belongs, which is on the store shelf. If you already purchased some, the next best place is the trash can.

MMO is a poor fuel lube.

the best lube you can get is just by running B5 bio.

opti lube products my second choice

No better cleaner and lube than Biodiesel! I also run Opti-Lube and run Bio when the weather is warm.

I fully agree but I am not deleted and i have found that my truck and Bio doesnt agree with each other as far as the DPF. I know if i deleted it would one less thing to worry about, and I am a huge supporter of bio fuels, but tried it,, mine started regening about every 80 miles. Switched back to straight diesel and powerservices treatment and now its back to normal.

Im not deleted either....

run pump grade B5. which also includes buying B20, B30, etc and mixing it down to B5.

The regen increase is temporary ...Bio fuel is a solvent and it will clean out your fuel system, egr, exhaust system.

regens will temporarily increase, any junk in your fuel tank will quickly clog your main fuel filter so be prepared to change the main filter after a few hundred miles.

stay away from home brew BIO mixes and back yard refineries.
