Good morning Randy! One thing you might try to help and save on propane is run an electric space heater or two. We do that in our camper all the time when it gets a little cold. Saves from having to run the furnace so much.

If he is paying for electricity that may not be a good option. Electricity is super expensive in AZ.

Not a bad idea, but I'd probably get caught...

We do have a 1500 watt space heater running though... I am going to go into town today and buy some 1/2" water pipe insulation and pack it into the drafty spots on the slide outs.. That should help..
My kitchen slide is stopping about 1/2" from being fully deployed. Their is something jamming it and I have not been able to find it yet..

Well it looks as if things could get interesting, in a good way, at work in the next several months. We have a costumer that we will do about 10 million in business with for 2015. They are projecting to do 2.5 times more next year. We are going to need to scramble to get people and space to store more materials before the end of December. Holy cats....

Sucks about your slide! Was the slide working before you left on your trip?

Yeah, the slide was okay before the trip. There is a recessed ceiling light in the kitchen that the slide goes under. The glass lens from that light is missing and I presume it fell out and landed on top of the silde. Moving the side back in does not expose it so it must be jammed somewhere up there. Without taking the inside fascia off the silde, there's no way to expose it.. At least not that I have found just yet..
The sun is shining now so I have a bit of nice weather to work on it...

I got the shrapnel! And a bunch of other crud!! I was able to move the slide in an stuck a broom up there and most the way dow the slide, then gradually drag all the crud out of there... The slide now goes all the way out and seals... Momma's happy and that makes Poppa a hero!! LOL
