Some of the inclines we went up were steeper than I could have climbed on my own. We used 4 wheel drive in case we lost traction with the rears.
At just shy of half-way in our 35 mile journey today, we visited a defunct turquoise mine. There were still a few veins visible but we had no chisel or hammer.. Notes taken for tools to be taken along on future trips. At that we could still pick up chunks of rock with turquoise embedded..
We stopped on the north side of one of the peaks at an area called Sherwood Forest. It was a lush green area in the middle of the desert. Pretty neat!

Stopped for a break in the Sherwood Forest area...
Looks like fun Randy!

Just spent the last two minutes staring at the clock. It did not move any faster. Is this day ever going to end?

I tried that with the grass seed I planted last spring too... Didn't work...

Just got back from the dentist... Yea!!! Another root canal - but I have to wait until next Wednesday... He gave me a prescription for high powered antibiotics.. I suppose that will help the tootache and then either bind me up or make me $#!t like a pet monkey.... Ugh...

I like that idea which is pretty easy for me since I don't drink coffee! haha Actually I got a head start yesterday. A customer showed up at my shop about 4:30 and walks in with a case a beer. Nothing like sitting in the office having a couple beers before the work day is over!
