Good looking modification. I moved my plug into the bed. Wife was always afraid the trailer cable would snag on something on the road. Easier to make the change than argue.

I would suggest if you add or move the connector to the bed, you get the Ford kit BC3Z-13A576-A. It plugs into the truck wiring with no splicing required. Price might be a little higher but you don't have the worries of splicing wires not making connection in the future.
