Exclamation How would you install an aftermarket shifter ****

So some of you may think this is cheesy or not the correct application etc.... but I think this shifter is awesome!!

Hurst 153-6010, Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter Handles | Hurst

My question is, how would I install this on my 88 f150 since I have determined that the stock **** is glued on, Not threaded like this one???

The stock **** is pressed on unless it came loose and PO glued it on. They are not glued on from the factory. You will need to cut threads on your shifter to make that handle fit properly.
