hello all. I am the proud owner of a 1985 ford ranger 4x4 2.8 v-6
My problem is that i need the ball that goes on the end of the shifter. It has the mitisibshi 5 speed manual transmission. I checked the local auto part stores and no luck there. Is there any place that i can find a whole new shifter at? other than that the truck is running great.
Thanks

The shifter **** itself? If that's all you need, there's no reason to spend 200-250 bucks on a new shifter. An aftermarket hurst shifter would be around 200ish, maybe less and much nicer then a stock shifter, in my opinion. Stock replacement should be around 250 if I remember right.
Anyways, if it's just the ****, run down to a Ford dealer and order one. I believe the shift ***** out of the 80's-present mustangs should fit(?) and they should be pretty easy to find.
i am reffering to the **** that goes down in the transmission shift lever. not the know on the top of the shifter handel. sorry if i confused your guys.
